Released in May 2024, the in-lite® DOT 22 Recessed Light with RING 28 builds on the proven FUSION-style platform, offering the same compact size, subtle light output and frosted lens, with the added benefit of wider system compatibility. These fittings work with both the standard 12v in-lite® system and the new 21v SMART HUB-300, making them a flexible choice for modern garden lighting schemes.
The DOT 22 with RING 28 features a slim 28mm bezel, available in Black, Stainless Steel or Pearl Grey, framing a tiny Ø22mm cut-out. While the bezel is visible during the day, at night the fitting delivers a soft, warm, glare-free glow that gently defines edges and surfaces. This makes it ideal for use as marker lighting along paths, walkways, decking and driveways, including drive-over applications. For best results, in-lite® recommend spacing fittings approximately 1.5–2 metres apart. When installing in soft ground, the optional SPIKE 22 accessory can be used.
For a more seamless, trimless finish, the DOT 22 is also available without a bezel. If a higher light output is required, the larger DOT recessed light with a 68mm bezel offers a stronger alternative.
Each low-voltage in-lite® fitting is equipped with a long-life LED rated at 25,000 hours and is backed by a 5-year warranty when used within the in-lite® system. Installation is quick and secure using the supplied EASY-LOCK connector, with optional cable extensions available up to 3 metres. As with all in-lite® systems, transformer capacity should always be calculated using total VA load rather than wattage.
