The in-lite® DOT recessed light is part of the DOT family, developed on a similar platform to the popular FUSION range. It shares the same compact form, subtle light output and frosted lens, but with one key advantage: compatibility with both 12v in-lite® systems and the 21v SMART HUB-300, offering greater flexibility for modern garden lighting designs.

The in-lite® DOT features a 68mm bezel available in Stainless Steel, Black or Pearl Grey and delivers a gentle 16-lumen warm white glow. At night, the frosted lens creates a soft, glare-free pool of light that is ideal for marker and accent lighting around paths, walkways, decking and driveways. These fittings are suitable for drive-over applications, with in-lite® recommending a spacing of approximately 1–1.5 metres for consistent results.

For installation into gravel or soil, the BOX1 accessory can be used as a secure canister. In soft ground, the SPIKE accessory allows for easy mounting. If a square finish is preferred when installing into wood or stone, the PLATE 1 accessory clips neatly onto the fitting to create a 75mm x 75mm square bezel.

Within the DOT range, there are also two smaller alternatives: the DOT 22 Trimless and DOT 22 with RING 28. Both feature a minimal 1-lumen output and a Ø22mm cut-out, with the Trimless version offering a seamless finish and the RING 28 version adding a slim decorative bezel.

Each in-lite® fitting uses a high-quality LED with a 25,000-hour lifespan and is backed by a 5-year warranty when used within the in-lite® system. All lights are supplied with an EASY-LOCK connector for quick, secure connection to the in-lite® CBL cable, with optional extensions available up to 3 metres.

Note: When calculating transformer load, always use the total VA rating, not wattage, to account for power losses. The VA load must not exceed the transformer’s stated capacity.
